We wanted to let you know that our music video for "The Rejection" will premiere on MTV's LOGO Network this Sunday night (at midnight), August 13. On this night, we are going to host an hour long episode of New Now Next. We will introduce a bunch of new videos by other artists as well as show you our own! Here are some stills ...

We love you. 8/05/06: DM GOES TO DC FOR ELECTROTEASE On August 4th, Dangerous Muse will come down to DC. Come dance with us. THEN, on Saturday night, we are going to be performing for our friends party called ElectroTease. The VIP boys will be performing with us too! We love them. 8/03/06: LIVE IN NEW YORK! WHAT! BANANAS!!! Dangerous Muse will perform LIVE for the new party called "Bananas" on Thursday, August 3rd in New York City. Sirius Satellite radio will be hosting the show. We would love to see you out. It should be a lot of fun. 8/01/06: BRAND NEW SINGLE ON MYSPACE On Tuesday, August 1st, Dangerous Muse will make their latest single available for streaming on MySpace. It is coming ... 7/19/06: LIVE IN CHICAGO FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY Wednesday, July 19th, Dangerous Muse will perform live at Circuit Night Club as a part of the Pink Magazine release party in association with the Gay Games in Chicago. Tickets are $12 and the event is 21+. See you there! 7/18/06: BACK AT THE BUDDHA TO DJ Today, July 18th, Dangerous Muse will fly to Chicago to DJ at The Funky Buddha Lounge for our friend Jilian's party, OUTDANCED. Cover is $5 and the event is 21+. Come say hi. 7/14/06: SIRIUS RADIO WITH LARRY FLICK This morning, Dangerous Muse will join Larry Flick on Sirius Radio for his morning show. This show is great on OUTQ 106. You guys should really check it out. The show is actually on right now, but we will be on at around 10am. If you are not a memeber of Sirius, you can sign up for a temporary account by clicking here: Get Free Sirius Temporary Membership. All you have to do is fill out of your name and email address and they send you the password. It's very simple. 7/10/06: FLAUNT MAGAZINE HITS STANDS Flaunt Magazine is now on stands. Today, Dangerous Muse launched their first compilation of remixes for the single, "The Rejection" on iTunes and all other digital download outlets. To give you a better taste, we posted one of our other favorite mixes above, done by our friends Goddollars. Enjoy! 7/1/06: THE REJECTION MAKES BILLBOARD MAGAZINE Today, "The Rejection" charted on the official Billboard charts at Number 36 in the US for Hot Club Dance Play. Since publication, it has climbed to Number 33 and is continuing to rise. 6/22/06: BACK IN NYC TO DJ GENRE MAGAZINE PARTY Last night Dangerous Muse played a DJ set for the Genre Magazine relase party to kick off pride in New York City. See our Playlist. 5/25/06: DANGEROUS MUSE GOES DOWN UNDER Tonight, Dangerous Muse leaves for Australia to setup the release of our record. We are very excited about meeting the Warner people there and establishing commerce for our fans down under. We will be in Melborne for a week and then off to Sydney. Maybe we'll see you around :) 5/24/06: SIRIUS DOES "AT HOME WITH DANGEROUS MUSE" This Saturday, Tom and I are going to DJ on Sirius Radio for a special mix show called "At Home with Dangerous Muse" on OutQ 106. The show will go from 12-3pm. Tom and I are going to be playing some of our favorites songs and some tracks that have influenced our song writing. Please tune in and listen! 5/21/06: THE REJECTION MUSIC VIDEO COMPLETED It has been a long time in the making, but we have finally completed the filming of "The Rejection" music video. Yesterday marked the third and final day of shooting. Video should be released by the end of next month. Check back soon for more details. 5/16/05: MIKE FUREY IS FLAUNT BOY JULY 2006 Flaunt magazine has named Mike Furey "Flaunt Boy" for their July 2006 issue. Yesterday Mike, Tom, and some of the Dangerous Muse family had a photo shoot in New York City. The spreads were photographed by photographic sensation, Dahlen and styled by the fantastic Sam Spector (who brought in bags and bags of Dior Homme). We had such a blast. The magazine will be on stands in the end of June. Please go out and grab a copy! 4/29/05: No. 5 ON BILLBOARD BREAKOUTS CHARTS This week, Dangerous Muse's "The Rejection" appeared on the Billboard charts as No. 5 "Breakouts for Hot Club Dance Play." Other songs on the Hot Dance Club Play charts included Depeche Mode's "Suffer Well", Paul Oakenfold's "Faster Kill Pussycat" and Madonna's "Sorry". 4/06/05: BACK ON ITUNES AT NUMBER 2 Today, because of YOU, Dangerous Muse returns to the iTunes Dance charts as Number 2 dance album. Check back soon for more.  3/22/06: DANGEROUS MUSE AT THE WINTER MUSIC CONFERENCE This weekend Mike Furey, lead singer of Dangerous Muse, will attend the Winter Music Conference in Miami Beach. Dangerous Muse will not be performing during the conference. But if you live in the Miami Beach area, come out to party! 3/21/06: REJECT DISCO MIX TO STAY Due to the overwhelming response, we have decided to keep the "Reject Disco Mix" of "The Rejection" on our MySpace page for an extended amount of time. You win. 3/19/06: VIDEO SHOT, TAPES OUT Yesterday we shot "The Rejection" video. Congratuations to our cast and crew for pulling it off on budget and on time! The footage is currently in post production. We'll let you all know specifics of its release as soon as we know more. Please check back soon for more updates. 3/18/06: THANKS FOR YOUR AUDITIONS It was a pleasure to meet our Los Angeles fans who made it out to our open call for "The Rejection" video, yesterday. Decisions were very hard to make. Thanks to everyone. Congratulations to Kimi, Natalie, Cara, and Elle for being selected. 3/15/06: OPEN CALL FOR MUSIC VIDEO CASTING This Friday, March 17th, Mike Furey and Mikel Korbic will be holding an open casting call for a portion of "The Rejection" music video shoot (to take place this Saturday). 03/14/06: REMIX FOR THE WEEK This week we would like to share a very special remix of "The Rejection" with you, artfully created by our friend Chaz from "Blazing Lazer" in Los Angeles. Check back for more soon! 03/03/06: BACK IN NEW YORK FOR ONE NIGHT Last night was insane night of debauchery at The Delancey in New York with our friends from Clear Static and a couple other bands. It was good to see everyone's "arms up" at home again. To open our set, we played a brand new track called "Your Boyfriend's Back," which will be featured on our next release, expected to drop on iTunes this Spring. More details on our next release and upcoming events soon. 03/01/06: AND ONE FOR OUR FANS HERE... We thought it would be more fair to let everyone have a chance to download "The Rejection" -- so we made it available on our MySpace page (click link in top right corner to download). (Specific details are on our "shows" page.) 01/12/06: WEST COAST CORDLESS RELASE PARTY IN LOS ANGELES Yesterday night we played for the Cordless release party in Los Angeles. We were totally psyched to see some of our New York friends in the audience and to meet some of our die-hards who drove out to see us. Some of the other acts to perform were Aya Pearde, Maven, and Koishii & Hush. Mikel Korbic was there with a bunch of cameras getting some footage for our most recent video. More soon.  01/10/06: DANGEROUS MUSE AND DJ CAT HARTWELL IN CHICAGO Last night we performed at Funky Budha Lounge for a party called "Mmm..." We went up there with our friend DJ Cat Hartwell from Fannypack. She is amazing. No more "grossin' people out with her cameltoe" because she started a new music project, Holy Hail. Check them out. Anyway, we had these amazing adjoining rooms with insane views of downtown Chicago. It was a good situation. After the show, we had the sickest party ever. Our rooms had jacuzzi's. What. This morning we picked up a few copies of TimeOut Chicago. We had no idea that they did a piece on us. Check it out: Timeout Chicago cover and clippings.< 01/07/06: HOT FUCKING PINK AT SCENIC Last night we performed at Scenic for Spencer Product's great new party called "Hot Fucking Pink." A couple other bands played that night too. If you haven't been, you should check it out. Next stop Chicago. Come see us at Funky Buddha Lounge on Monday night! 12/24/05: DANGEROUS MUSE DOES NEW ENGLAND VFW STYLE Last night we did a show outside of Boston in Freetown, Mass. Eric Marcelino, the Paris Hilton of New Bedford, hosted the night at a local VFW. If you don't know what one of those is, you should. There's probably one in your town. Usually they are mad old, have linoleum floors and perfectly ghetto wood paneling. All I have to say is $2 pitchers, $2.50 mixed drinks, and a fierce bartender with two kids and one on the way. Five other bands played that night, lots of great stuff. Our favorites were: "Butch Cassidy and the Wild Bunch" (a great electro duo in short shorts and high striped porno style 70s bball socks) and "Sex Positions" (an insane hardcore meets electronic music situation with a lead singer who straight up dove into a chicks crotch from stage). WHERE WERE ALL THE CAMERAS? IF YOU HAVE PHOTOS, SEND THEM TO US. As of now, we don't have any pictures of the night, but here are a couple shots of two girls from the show sporting our gear. Our tees will be available online soon. Until then, you can pick one up in Chicago, at our next show.  12/13/05: CRASH MANSION PARTY: CORDLESS RELEASE Last night marked the official release of Cordless Recordings. Dangerous Muse, Nozzle and Breakup Breakdown (Cordless bands) performed throughout the night. The event was held at Crash Mansion, hosted by The Village Voice. More  12/04/05: DANGEROUS MUSE IN THE ENCYCLOPEDIA Today a friend of ours found us listed in an online encyclopedia, "Wikipedia" (www.wikipedia.com). We are listed under the word "keytar" as "New Musicians using the Keytar." Check it out: keytar 11/30/05: ON A CAKE FOR KELLY CUTRONE Last night we performed on a giant layer cake stage for the birthday celebration of Kelly Cutrone, founder of People's Revolution, at Happy Valley. Our velvet pieces were designed by Dwight Riche. Jewelry by Alex and Chloe and Dior. The party was hosted by Susanne Bartsch, Kenny Kenny, and Sophia Lamar. Resident DJs: The MisShapes (Geordon Nicol, Greg K., Leigh Lezark) with special guest: Sean "Dack Attack". Notable faces in the crowd: Larry Tee (founder of the Electroclash movement), Zaldy (head designer for Gwen Stefani's clothing line, L.A.M.B.), Benjamin Cho (designer extraordinaire). Happy Valley is one of the newest venues to open in New York City, designed by Jeremy Scott. More  11/20/05: V MAGAZINE (ISSUE 38) RELEASE PARTY Last night we performed for the V Magazine (issue 38) release party, hosted by The MisShapes (Geordon Nicol, Greg K., Leigh Lezark) at Luke and Leroy. Guest Djs: Gemma Ward (supermodel), The Sounds, and Benjamin Cho. Notable faces in the crowd: Stephen Gan (founder of V magazine), Michael Stipe (R.E.M. vocalist), and James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins guitarist). This party also served as the Dangerous Muse unofficial release party. Gift bags, provided by Sire and Warner Brothers Records included: Dangerous Muse's "The Rejection" single, Madonna's "Confessions On a Dance Floor," Depeche Mode's "Playing the Angel," HIM "Dark Light," and Regina Spektor's "Soviet Kitsch." Other give aways included: Dangerous Muse shirts (designed by Deer Dana) and necklaces (designed by Alex and Chloe). More  11/11/05: HAPPY BEGINNINGS AT HAPPY ENDINGS Last night we performed at Happy Ending for a monthly party hosted by Sheal Kill You (The Look, Visions of the Impending Apocalypse) and Samuel Kirkland (Famous Records). Happy Endings used to be a seedy Chinese massage parlor a couple years ago. It may be known for its endings, but Happy Ending was a happy beginning for our New York City run. More  11/11/05: DANGEROUS MUSE ON THE RADIO Yesterday night, Mike Furey made a guest appearance on The MisShapes' East Village Radio show to introduce "The Rejection." This marked the first time that Dangerous Muse has been played live on the radio. The MisShapes also played "Apart" from the Dangerous Muse album, now available on iTunes. Some other songs featured in the two hour set were: Depeche Mode, "John The Revelator"; Madonna, "Sorry"; The Sounds, "Song with a Mission". The MisShapes show is every Thursday night from 10pm to Midnight. Please support them by listening.
